Alleycat Comics is an independent comic shop located at 5304 N Clark St. This shop can be missed while walking around in Andersonville. At the other end of a narrow alleyway is a bright beacon of comic books. On my way, very far behind from my friends I had to wait for a woman with her arms full of balloons to go through the alley first. There isn’t room for two adults to walk side by side.
Outside of being a cool out of the way place to pick up the latest issue of your favorite comics, the shop also hosts a wide variety of events. Every Monday and Friday at 6:30 they play Magic. On Saturday nights they have movie nights. Thursdays are game nights.
