청계천 Cheonggyecheon Stream is about a 3.6 mile (5.8km) long stream that predates the city of Seoul, as a stream that connected the mountains to the hangang river. It was paved over during the industrial period of South Korea and in 2005 the restoration was completed. 120,000 tons of water is now being pumped through the stream and about 22 bridges going across it. It’s a beautiful stream in the heart of Seoul both at day and night.
