While on Ganghwa Island we had a lot of really good food. But hands down my absolute favorite meal was our last one. We went to 오류네손칼국수, a kalguksu restaurant.
오류네손칼국수 is a small restaurant, our group took up a fourth of it. Kalguksu is a noodle dish which consists of knife-cut wheat flour noodles, what’s with the noodles depends on the recipe and region. The kalguksu we had was filled with fresh vegetables and clams. Once we made sure there wasn’t any meat left in the clams we put them on an extra plate. I loved this meal, it was savory, the vegetables were fresh and tender, and the noodles were delicious.
