The original plan for our last full day in Busan was that the ferry would take us to the Oryukdo Skywalk, but that didn’t happen. The ferry was more of a boat tour that took you no where. So after a refershing patbingsu we grabbed a taxi and took it to the Oryukdo Skywalk.
The Skywalk is a 15 meter (49 feet) glass bridge that was finished in 2012 but opened to the public in 2013. It’s made up of 24 parts of tiles attached with iron columns. It’s open from 9am until 6pm.
We arrived we went up a steep hill and we were directed to a box filled with shoe covers. I think the shoe covers are for cleanliness and safety. They have little grips on the bottom. When you finish walking around the bridge you take them off and can look through the different binoculars set up, which are free unlike in the US. It’s definably a beautiful place to go and great for photos. There are also other things to do in the area, but we still had stuff to do in Busan so we didn’t have time to explore. Plus a lot of things nearby were closed.
We took a bus back into Busan since the taxi there was expensive. It was a bit of a long bus ride, but it was a lot cheaper.
