Crepes are common in Harujuku. There’s several little shops, usually with long lines and usually right next to one another selling crepes. After visiting the owl village I decided to stop by the Santa Monica Crepe section and get in line for a crepe. I picked out their Matcha Cheesecake special with Matcha whipped cream. I expected based off the sampuru’s in the glass cases I assumed thatthe cheese cake and matcha would be throughout the entire crepe or more in the middle and evenly spread out.
But after carefully eating my way past the top of the crepe I was disapointed to find out the rest of the crepe was nothing but whipped cream. :/
