La Boîte Black Label is a gold French bakery/cafe in Gangnam. Mika took me to it to just sit and relax and enjoy the photography friendly atmosphere. La Boîte (The box) is a two-story cafe with beautiful cakes and macaroons and a nice drink menu. I ordered one of the fruit teas, a peppermint lemon tea and Mika ordered a chocolate latte and we opted to sit outside. Inside and up the stairs was a beautiful chandelier and a big painted ceiling all which gave off a classy sophisticated air. Outside though, where we sat the outside of the cafe was painted a nice golden color which was popular for photos.
My peppermint lemon tea was good. It didn’t taste very peppermint-y, but instead like a sweet lemon tea, with lemon filling up the bottom of my glass.
