이돈갓

After wandering around Jeju City for a bit we decided to hunt for some place for dinner. It took awhile because a lot of places seemed to be closed a bit early or just weren’t what we were wanting. Eventually we ended up at 이돈갓 , a Japanese restaurant on the second floor of a winding shopping district street. My friend hadn’t eaten Japanese food before so it was a bit of an adventure for her and she picked from the menu the Pizza Cutlet (피자까스)

I ordered an udon donkatsu set (돈까스우동셋트).

They brought us out a small jar at first and we weren’t sure it what it was, it turned out to be salad dressing. I wasn’t expecting my udon to be so big, the pictures in the menu (which was also in English) showed it to be more of a small side like the soup that came with my friends pizza cutlet. But it was good. The restaurant was very filling after a long day of running around a small island and wandering about Jeju city. It wasn’t very busy either, though we went a bit later at night and it looked like we might have been their last customers that evening.  이돈갓  seems to also be a Japanese food chain that you can find in different spots of Korea.
