For the last day of our trip, after breakfast at the resort we headed to the Byeongbangchi Skywalk. The skywalk is similar to those throughout Korea, like in Busan, where you put shoe covers over your shoes and then head out onto the skywalk, which is a glass pathway for you to view all around and below. Not the best for those scared of heights.
The Byeongbangchi Skywalk gives a great view of Bamseon Island, the nearby mountains and the Donggang River.
It was a bit of a hazy day so we couldn’t see the mountains particularly well but it was lovely. Tickets for the skywalk are only 2,000 won for adults.
There is also a cafe that serves ice cream, a parking lot surrounded by tourist things like a convenience store and restroom and if you walk through a path you can spend 40,000 won to go on the zipline that goes down the mountain.
