It’s that time of year again, summer vacation and thus a school teacher’s trip. Right on the heels of my Department of Education trip to Ulleungdo. After the students left on the final day of the semester we all boarded a bus and headed to Chuncheon to meet the rest of our coworkers for lunch. We all ate a noodle dish, 막국수, makguksu, a cold buckwheat noodles which is a dish found in Chuncheon and in Gangwon provence.
The makguksu wasn’t bad in my opinion, I didn’t mix it up like I was suppose to because I was a bit hesitant about the sweet spicy sauce and wanted to eat as much of it as possible, much the chagrin of my coworkers.
