Jeju Jeolmul Recreational Forest 제주절물자연휴양림

Throughout Jeju there are a ton of places to hike. Short hikes, long hikes, beach hikes, forest hikes, hikes to the top of mount Hallasan. We even passed a beautiful looking one that would’ve taken two hours on our way to Jeolmul Recreational Forest. Our guide gave us a path he suggested and then took off to run through the forest on his own.

It was a pretty easy trail. The majority of it was wooden platforms that led past ponds and places to stop for activities. Though at each of the activity spots you had to take off your shoes and the activities they hosted were never offered to us so I’m not sure how you participate. One of them was a wooden workshop just filled with wooden carved creations. There were also plenty outside to look at. It’s called a woodcraft experience, there is another one for children.

It was a beautiful walk early in the morning as we followed the path our guide outlined for us.

The park is open daily from 9am until 5pm with a fee of 1,000 won per adult.
