One of my friends was in town for a very short period of time. It worked out though that I was free and able to run downtown and meet her. We went out for mandu (dumplings) at a little stall and then headed to a cafe. It took us awhile to pick one and eventually we ended up at Margaret River.
Margaret River is located in Hapjeong and makes a variety of fun looking cakes we were both too full to eat.
I ordered a chocolate macchiato which was good. They also offer a variety of more interesting and fun drinks. The atmosphere was nice, though they kept playing the same songs on a somewhat small rotation when we went. I think I heard the same pop songs like 12 times while we were chatting. It’s not particularly big so grab a table when you get in if you want to sit. If you have room I also highly suggest trying one of their desserts, either a cake, pie or tart.
Margaret River is open from 11am until 11pm throughout the week. I suggest leaving out exit 5 from Hapjeong station.
