My coworkers told me they wanted to hang out after work. Which I’ve gotten before but it’s rarely ever actually happened outside of Hweshik (회식). (Work dinners). But this time it did. A coworker and I worked out a day we were both free, then she gathered up other coworkers who wanted to join and then we all went out for samgyeopsal 삼겹살.
It was a really nice place to eat. The egg side dish which puffed up like a souffle and then caved…also like a souffle was really good.
We also went through a couple different courses of meat. Mostly 목살 (pork neck) and 삼겹살 (pork belly) both of which were about 13,000 per 200 grams. The prices range between 13,000 and 14,000 depending on which 200 grams of meat you want.
배때기기름칠 is open Monday- Saturday from 4pm until midnight. On Sundays they are open from 4pm until 11pm. They are closed on the 4th Sunday of the month. The menu is only in Korean. Parking in this area is limited so it can be a little difficult.
