While I was in Bangkok I happened to be there at the same time the Lights of Happiness were up in front of City Hall which happened to be near my hostel. For most of the month of January and the end of December the lights were up and they had different events going on like live music and traditional dances. Food and drink weren’t allowed and security was about, but it was a lot of fun to look at and take photos. There was even a couple areas with seats and lights so you could take a good photo with the lights in the background.
