Left Coast Burgers

Nathalie’s birthday was recently so I met up with her and some of her friends to celebrate in Itaewon. Our first stop was Left Coast Burgers at 130-43 Itaewon-dong. I ordered the classic burger with a half side of fries. The classic comes with American Cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup and mustard. Which was delicious.  They also offer veggie burgers and lettuce wraps instead of bread for those with dietary restrictions. The veggie burgers had beets in them which made them a interesting but beautiful color. The burgers were a bit messy so I ended up eating mine with a fork and knife.

We also hinted (or failed at hinting and just flat out told everyone who came by our table) that it was Nathalie’s birthday which secured us a free chocolate chip cookie with ice cream for her (and us to share). It was thin so we inhaled it pretty quickly but it was also fresh from the oven and warm. We sang two different versions of Happy Birthday much to the amusement of the people working and other guests.

For non-birthdays this cookie can be a bit expensive, but it’s decent size.

I liked the atmosphere and all the art on the way up to the second floor where the restaurant is. Plus the owner came over himself to tell Nathalie happy birthday and to mention the cookie was on the house.  They also offer a lot more like a fun list of drinks, tater tots, mac and cheese, and kalbi fries just to name a few.
