This cafe was created in 1912. It’s found in Praha 1. It was a hotspot for a lot of authors to meet and write including Franz Kafka and Gustav Meyrink.
After a walking tour where we discussed Kafka and followed his footsteps through Praha 1 my teacher took us to Café Montmartre. There were a lot of us and the atmosphere was old. It sort of looked very worn and in bad repair. We ordered our food, a teacher ordered a hot sausage expecting the sausage we’d been getting at the beer festival but instead was brought hot dogs. Which was disapointing. The menu is in English and Czech. They also have wifi.
Café Montmartre is located at Řetězová 7, Praha 1 in Old Town.
