Ss Cyril and Methodius Church is a baroque church in Prague that one of our teachers took us to. The church was a hiding spot for Czech parachutists during world war two after the assassination of Moravia Reinhard Heydrich, a high ranking German Nazi. They were betrayed, found and it turned into a gun fight in the church and used the Czech and Slovak patriots used their final bullets to commit suicide. There is a museum in the church crypt to commemorate the heros.
You can still see bullet holes by where they were hiding and there are gifts that are left at the spot, like flowers and wreaths.
Ss. Cyril and Methodius Cathedral is located at Resslova 9a, 120 00 Praha 2.
