On a rather warm Saturday all I wanted to do was sit down and have lunch someplace air conditioned. But all we could find were places that didn’t seem airconditioned or street food stalls until we found the under 24 cafe. It looked to be just a building with 4 or 5 different cafes in it, but the other ones we looked at seemed closed. So we stuck with under 24 which is on the second floor in Dongdaemun.
The under 24 cafe had a nice atmosphere, was clean and neat and modern with a piano off to the side my friend played before we left and a projector playing movies.
We ordered their red bean patbingsu which was way to much for the both of us to finish but cooled us down fast. Patbingsu is shaved ice with different sweet toppings, ours included ice cream with the red beans. I also ordered tea and a blueberry bagel.
