At the end of our night wandering around in Edae Nathalie stopped to look at some pastries and saw a beautiful strawberry tart. So after dinner we decided we’d find our way back to the bakery to have it for dessert. We’d only looked in the window and popped our heads in to see if they sold it by slice, so when we went in to sit down and enjoy the tart I was pretty surprised by the fancy feel of it.
All the waitresses were dressed nicely and quietly waited off to the side until you were done with something to come whisk it away. We ordered tea with our dessert and it came in beautiful teapots with matching tea cups. It reminded me a lot of having high tea. Only without the towering plates full of desserts and tea sandwiches.
