I hurried home recently in the hopes of saying goodbye to my mother. But, I didn’t make it in time, she passed while I was on the tarmac on a crowded plane, before we took off from Korea. It was very sudden and very quick, for a disease that was suppose to take longer and be slower. I’m quite in shock, like the rest of my family. I spent my short time at home surrounded by family and now I’m back in Korea, still processing and trying to deal with my grief. This has also been coupled with terrible jet lag and a pretty nasty allergy flare up which has kept me in bed for the majority of my time back. I’m not sure when I’ll be back, if it’ll be my three posts a week or a bit more sporadic, but I will be back, eventually. Please be patient with me. Thank you for your understanding.
