After finally making it back to Kyoto station we made sure my uncle went through the right gate to get back to our hotel and then my aunt and I continued on a miniature adventure on our own. Still rather exhausted we were determined to get some dinner and some dessert. We stopped at Sir Thomas Lipton which we’d passed early that day and got two tarts. One white peach and the other fig and took them back to our hotel to share with my uncle. They were delicious.
They also have a little cafe so you can sit and enjoy your treats there.
