Gilbert’s burgers and fries is an American style restaurant found in a couple of locations in Seoul. I met some friends who were leaving Korea to return to the states at a location near Gangnam.
They have a wide variety of burgers and one in particular intrigued me, the Gilmac burger. This burger comes with macaroni and cheese and bacon on top of a large beef patty. (10,000 won) I also split a half and half order of half onion rings (not something easy to find in Korea) and sweet potato fries for a little bit more than the regular half and half price (8,500won). I also ordered a Dr. Cow which was ice cream with Dr. Pepper that was delicious. The food was very filling and probably too much for me to eat on my own but it was great.
Gilbert’s Burgers and Fries can be found in Garosu-gil (the location we went to) and in Itaewon. They’re open from 9am until 10pm.
