Depending on the season the Chicago Parks have different things going on. On summer nights are free movies. They’ll bring in a blow up screen and people will bring picnics, picnic blankets, and sit and watch the movie as it gets dark. They are tons of fun to go to, and usually they are an array of family friendly movies and the recent out to own blockbuster hits. They’ll also set up little tables selling popcorn, snacks and drinks. Lists of the dates, times, parks and movie listings can usually be found online or in some pamphlets.
