Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival can be found off the Morse Red line stop. Once you’ve exited the train and gone down to the street you’ve walked into the festival. The festival is usually a weekend in early August. With many different vendors and booths there is plenty to do. There are several stages playing music or even having performances.
The street the fair happens along a street with a wall covered in murals. The art extends throughout the area. Near the Lifeline Theatre is a garden filled with art.
There is tons to do and look at, from the booths to the art, to eating or watching a live performance sneak peek from the local theater’s upcoming shows.
