Dear Melba

Nathalie suggested a place around Pyeongnae Hopyeong 평내호평for brunch. A nice little restaurant that doesn’t serve a traditional brunch but instead a nice brunch set of your choice of half a sandwich, egg (sunny side up), salad, soup, and potato wedges. They offer chili shrimp, mustard chicken, beef and cheese, potato salad, classic ham and cheese, grilled ham and cheese, or tomato mozzarella sandwiches. I picked the grilled ham and cheese and it came with relish which surprisingly went well with it. We also ordered tea, I ordered tangerine ginger and Nathalie ordered Scarlet which is a tart blend of cranberries, blueberries, cherries, hibiscus, rooibos and several other flowers and berries mixed in.

The menu is in English and Korean so it’s very easy to navigate and the owner also speaks English. They serve a variety of soups, salads, and pastas as well. It was filling, but the only thing you get a choice in is the sandwich.
