Castle Hill Farm

In Lexington there’s a castle. The castle while surviving a fire and being passed around is currently an inn, where rooms go for $185-$595 per night, to being an event space of $4300 per night. Also for much cheaper you can buy tickets to a murder mystery event for about $75. (Still expensive, but it’s a murder mystery dinner in an actual castle so I get it) But outside of the castle on the nearby land is another event space that mostly serves as a wedding area but is also a winery.

In the Camelot room during regular hours (Monday through Saturday from 10-6 and Sundays 12-5) you can have your own impromptu wine tasting for about $1 per tasting glass. Though if you’ve got a big party maybe message them ahead of time.

I’m not a huge wine person and mostly went with popular items or what sounded good in their wine tasting menu. Their most popular one, Camelot, was out, but the ones I tried seemed good to me. If you’re in the area it’s a fun place to stop by. We had the whole place to ourselves when we went in the middle of the day on a weekday.
