Tamarind is a fancy asian fusion restaurant in the south loop. I’ve been a couple times and while I like the atmosphere my love for the food depends on what I order. The first time I went was for a desert with friends and I found everything tasting a bit odd, but it may have just been the day or the batch. The second time I went I got chicken udon and enjoyed it. So I suppose it depends on the day, however it’s a bit pricy so I’ve tried to limit the times I go there to special events. It tends to be a pretty popular restaurant for sushi or other asian dishes.
