From a family that travels so often it feels a part of the DNA that somehow ended up with an introverted scaredy cat who managed to get up the courage to move far across the world. Swapping rural country sides for large cities to mountainside villages and now currently back in a city. I love to travel with a good book in my bag, try delicious food and am always writing. Right before the pandemic hit I returned home and now am based in the USA again.
Esplande Theaters by the Bay- the search for the Merlion
The merlion is considered the emblem of singapore, and maybe my white whale. While I may have missed it I did get a chance to visit the beautiful Esplande theaters even if briefly.
Chinatown
An afternoon visit to Chinatown where I ate Kueh Tutu, muah chee, chendol, bought souvenirs, and ran out of the buddha's tooth relic temple without seeing anything.

Hawker Centres
