The merlion is considered the emblem of singapore, and maybe my white whale. While I may have missed it I did get a chance to visit the beautiful Esplande theaters even if briefly.

An afternoon visit to Chinatown where I ate Kueh Tutu, muah chee, chendol, bought souvenirs, and ran out of the buddha's tooth relic temple without seeing anything.

Gardens of the Bay is a beautiful and extensive green area in Singapore with impressive flower collections and conservatories as well as host to the iconic Supertree grove.

While you have to spend a lot of money to visit the infinity pool there are other things you can do at Marina Bay for free, like watch the light show!
